Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our sales team based in the Midlands. The ideal candidate will have a great knowledge and passion for food, excellent people skills, and be up for a challenge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow and maintain established relationships in and around the Midlands of the UK, as well as generate new business opportunities.
  • Operate as the key contact for accounts within your assigned area/region, ensuring allocated accounts run within expected levels of margin.
  • Be reactive to account issues, seeking satisfactory resolution for customers.
  • Targeted and strategic new business prospecting.
  • Support customers with planning and development.
Requirements
  • Previous sales experience within a similar FMCG business, preferably within the food sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets.
