Join Our Team as a SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support our local schools in Maidstone. As a Supply SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support for students with special educational needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students with a variety of special educational needs, helping them access the curriculum effectively.
  • Adapt teaching strategies and classroom activities to meet individual learning needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage social development within the classroom.
  • Foster an inclusive and nurturing environment, supporting the well-being of all students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure consistent support for students.
Requirements:
  • Relevant SEND Teaching Assistant qualifications or significant experience working with children with SEND.
  • A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting children with special needs.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
