An exciting opportunity has emerged for a skilled Fire Engineer to become part of a renowned, leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.
Key Responsibilities of the Fire Engineer
The successful candidate will engage in projects across various sectors including Education, Commercial, Retail, and Healthcare, both domestically and internationally.
Previous experience in fire engineering design within a building services framework is essential, with senior Fire Engineers and team members available for guidance.
Your role will involve the execution of precise and comprehensive:
- Fire Engineering Design
- Fire Safety Strategies
- Fire Hazard Analysis
- Fire Risk Assessments
- Smoke Control Design
- Code Compliance Evaluations
- Knowledge of fire suppression and alarm systems is advantageous
Familiarity with Technical Handbooks software is preferred.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Degree in Fire Engineering / BEng or a related field (mechanical, building services)
- MSc is advantageous but not mandatory
- Prior experience in a multidisciplinary or consultancy environment
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
- Effective time management skills
- Commercial awareness
What We Offer
- Competitive Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
