Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civil Modeller to join our team at Global Engineering Talent. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality designs for a large-scale infrastructure project in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities
  • 3D Modelling & Design: Develop detailed 3D models for dry utilities using Revit, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements and standards.
  • Project Delivery: Support the ongoing delivery of a large infrastructure project, working with a live project environment to meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to coordinate designs and resolve any technical challenges.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all models are checked, validated, and meet the highest quality standards before submission.
  • Software Expertise: Utilise Revit and other relevant modelling software (e.g., Civil 3D, Navisworks) to deliver precise and efficient design solutions.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly identify and address issues within the models, offering solutions that align with project constraints.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate project documentation, including model updates, clash detection reports, and design changes.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Dry Utilities Experience: Demonstrable experience in modelling dry utilities for large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Revit Proficiency: Advanced skills in Revit are essential, with a proven track record of delivering complex models on live projects.
  • Software Skills: Familiarity with additional modelling software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, or similar.
  • Live Project Experience: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, live project environment, hitting the ground running with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring all models are accurate and comply with project standards.
  • Team Player: Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills, able to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve modelling issues swiftly and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Design, or related field.
  • Project Experience: Previous experience working on large-scale projects in the Middle East, particularly in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable.
  • Professional Certifications: Professional certifications in Revit or other modelling software are a plus.
