Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Senior Care Worker who will be responsible for overseeing the care provided to our residents. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the needs of service users and develop tailored care plans.
- Supervise and mentor care staff, fostering a collaborative and communicative atmosphere.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of team members.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and provide management cover as necessary.
- Lead nightly briefings and support a safe, nurturing environment for all residents.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess an HNC in Social Care or SVQ 3 and be actively pursuing a management qualification. Relevant experience and basic computer skills are essential. A commitment to working within a Christian ethos is required, along with membership in the PVG Scheme and registration with SSSC.
