We are seeking Experienced Management Accountants to become a vital part of our Management Accounts division. This position offers a hybrid working model – 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.
In a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment, this role is pivotal for Management Accounting across various entities within the Liberty Global network.
Key Responsibilities:
· Execute accounting functions throughout the organization adhering to established timelines and compliance with accounting policies and Internal Control/SOX standards.
· Develop journal entries and conduct analyses, providing insights into critical areas.
· Conduct month-end balance sheet evaluations and reporting.
· Ensure balance sheet governance, integrity, and assurance.
· Enhance internal efficiencies and quality of deliverables through process optimization and collaboration with both internal and external teams.
· Emphasize automation and digitization - strategically leveraging technology to refine existing processes.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
Essential:
· A recognized Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.).
· Experience in Management Accounting and/or auditing.
· Familiarity with complex accounting within large corporate environments.
· Proficient Excel skills.
· Experience in researching emerging or complex accounting/reporting challenges.
· Strong attention to detail - capable of preparing and reviewing schedules, plans, and performance metrics accurately, while identifying and resolving discrepancies.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Proven experience in a complex environment, meeting deadlines effectively.
Desirable:
· Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
· Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Hyperion/HFM).
