About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Assistant to join our team at Sonderwell. As a Complex Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients with complex needs, including spinal care, autonomic dysreflexia, oral suctioning, and bowel suppository insertion.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients with medication administration and other healthcare needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Experience in complex care, preferably in a similar role or setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
