Job Overview

Glebe Farm Foods Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of gluten-free oats and related products. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to ensure effective running, maximum uptime, and minimal downtime for all internal customers.
  • Ensure site PM and legal checks are completed in agreed timescales.
  • Ensure H&S processes are being followed.
  • Propose and implement site production improvements.
  • Perform other tasks as required by colleagues.

Requirements

  • Hold a mechanical/electrical qualification or relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry is an advantage.
  • Able to identify faults, especially in PLC control and instrumentation.
  • Demonstrable experience on steam pipe work, Boiler room BOAS Certification, HVAC, and chiller.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Able to build good relationships with the wider team.
