Job Overview
Glebe Farm Foods Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of gluten-free oats and related products. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to ensure effective running, maximum uptime, and minimal downtime for all internal customers.
- Ensure site PM and legal checks are completed in agreed timescales.
- Ensure H&S processes are being followed.
- Propose and implement site production improvements.
- Perform other tasks as required by colleagues.
Requirements
- Hold a mechanical/electrical qualification or relevant experience.
- Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry is an advantage.
- Able to identify faults, especially in PLC control and instrumentation.
- Demonstrable experience on steam pipe work, Boiler room BOAS Certification, HVAC, and chiller.
- Effective communication skills at all levels.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Able to build good relationships with the wider team.
