About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Director to lead our A Level Maths and Physics curriculum. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of teaching and managing academic Maths and Physics qualifications at Key Stage 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a high-quality Maths and Physics curriculum that meets the needs of our students
  • Lead a team of teachers to deliver Maths and Physics lessons and assessments
  • Manage the accreditation and quality assurance processes for Maths and Physics qualifications
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes and improvements
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Maths and Physics curriculum and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience of teaching Maths and Physics at Key Stage 5
  • Proven track record of leadership and management in a educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults
