We are looking for a dedicated individual to assist children and families within an educational setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to making a positive impact and will demonstrate empathy and support.
- Hours: Full-time 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Pay: £15
- Location: Hyndburn
Key Responsibilities:
Establish strong, reliable relationships with colleagues, children, and families, fostering partnerships between the educational institution and families.
Be ready to tackle challenges proactively.
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive atmosphere to ensure children feel happy and secure in their learning environment.
Provide guidance, advice, and support to children and their families.
Assist families in navigating local services, completing necessary paperwork, and participating in relevant courses.
Support the development of social skills, emotional well-being, and mental health.
Collaborate with a team to ensure each child is recognized as an individual.
Qualifications:
Experience in supporting children and families.
Demonstrated compassion and understanding.
Relevant qualifications in social work, family support, or a related field.
Willingness to pursue additional training.
Enhanced DBS on the update service.
A strong understanding of safeguarding practices.

All quoted pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of a permanent role in the future.
