About Us: Life Science People is a mid-sized business that specializes in delivering projects to the most technologically advanced growing businesses and educational institutions across the world.
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced AI Research Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering and science team, you will be working at the intersection of engineering and biology, furthering efforts in DNA science, RNA science, protein design, immunogenicity, and infectious disease modelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver deep learning projects using neural networking techniques
- Work with commercial and scientific stakeholders to develop and implement machine learning and deep learning algorithms
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to design and develop new projects
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and methodologies in machine learning and deep learning
Requirements:
- Industry experience delivering deep learning projects
- Commercial experience or PhD experience in biology
- Strong experience with Python, Linux, and Docker
- Open source experience
- Experienced with ML libraries and frameworks
- Data science and analytics experience
- Excellent communication skills in English
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range of £55,000 - £85,000 (depending on seniority)
