An exciting new role has emerged for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in a state-of-the-art nursing home in Chelmsford, Essex. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be working for a leading provider of healthcare services.

To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high standards of care by conducting thorough assessments, planning, and evaluating care plans, ensuring all residents' needs are met.
  • Act in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and maintain registration requirements.
  • Effectively deploy and supervise staff within the care team, ensuring tasks are completed during duty periods and residents receive required care.
  • Undertake nursing tasks, including medication distribution, dressings, catheterization, tube feeding, and managing chronic medical conditions.
  • Provide staff support, demonstration, and instruction of care activities, particularly during induction and mentoring of new staff.
  • Contribute to and attend staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Liaise with health and social care professionals involved in residents' wellbeing to maintain a holistic approach to care.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Good nursing experience
  • Excellent clinical skills
  • Able to write care plans
  • Able to show empathy and warmth
  • Able to perform general nursing tasks such as peg feeding, wound care, phlebotomy, etc.
  • Able to demonstrate a can-do attitude
