Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Finance and Procurement Coordinator to enhance the efficiency of our finance department. This role is designed to complement a team of three other finance professionals, ensuring seamless operations.

Role Structure
This newly established position arises from a comprehensive review of our finance and procurement team structure. You will report directly to the finance team leader while also maintaining an indirect reporting relationship with the procurement manager.

Key Responsibilities
The primary objective of this role is to assist the finance and procurement teams in delivering a high-quality service within the transactional finance domain. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and processing purchase and sales ledger invoices, ensuring adherence to reporting and statutory standards.
  • Accurately batching purchase ledger invoices for supplier payments in accordance with agreed payment terms.
  • Reconciling supplier statements to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Managing the sales ledger process, ensuring timely action on statements of accounts, invoices, and queries.
  • Providing support for online banking operations as needed.

Procurement Support
In addition to finance tasks, you will assist with procurement processes, including:

  • Managing purchase orders and supplier contact information.
  • Maintaining procurement policies, including compliance with anti-bribery and corruption regulations.
  • Ensuring adherence to modern slavery policies.

Candidate Requirements
We are seeking an experienced accounts assistant with a minimum of 12 months of practical experience in a dynamic accounting environment.

Work Model
The successful candidate will be expected to work in a blended model, with approximately 60% of the time spent in the office and 40% working remotely. This arrangement may be subject to change based on organizational needs.
