About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health and Environment Manager to join our central SHE team at Willmott Dixon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to our South region, ensuring that our sites maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, advise, support, enforce, and report on standards of health, safety, and environment, ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
  • Ensure our sites stay up-to-date with current legislation and group policy and procedures, effectively communicating these to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify new and innovative ways of working to improve Health, Safety, and Environment performance, ensuring compliance with statutory legislation.
  • Provide leadership and support to staff and supply chain on all health, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Respond to all accidents and incidents within appropriate timescales, ensuring internal and statutory notifications are in place, providing sufficient detail to protect our business interests and accurately account for the root cause of the accident/incident, along with details of corrective action.
  • Promote and encourage excellent standards and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental management within our business.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Qualification (NEBOSH / Construction certificate)
  • CSCS Card
  • FASET, Confined Spaces, Scaffold Inspection, Fire Marshal
  • Valid Driving licence
  • Maintained good standards of HS&E on construction and housing projects
  • Worked with project team to develop innovative ways of working which improve HS&E standards
  • Reviewed new products and standards and making recommendations for implementation
