At Home Instead, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Live-In Care Professional. As a Live-In Care Professional, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, providing personalized care and support in their own homes.
Main Responsibilities:- Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook meals, ensuring our clients receive nutritious and delicious food.
- Medication Management: Prompt and assist with medication administration, ensuring our clients receive their prescribed medications.
- Household Duties: Assist with light household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Companionship: Engage in activities and conversations with our clients, providing emotional support and companionship.
- Outings and Appointments: Accompany clients on outings, such as shopping or social events, and ensure they attend scheduled appointments.
- Health and Well-being: Monitor and report on our clients' health and well-being, maintaining accurate records and notes.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in live-in care, domiciliary care, social care, or healthcare settings.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in verbal and written English.
- Dedication, reliability, and a genuine desire to care for others.
- Empathy, patience, and a proactive approach to caring.
- Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations.
- Good physical stamina and fitness to meet the demands of the role.
- Comprehensive training and ongoing support.
- A competitive weekly pay rate of £12.50 per hour.
- Time off between placements.
- Flexible work patterns, including 10-hour shifts with a minimum daily rest period of 2 hours.
- A pension scheme and paid annual leave.
