About the Role

Peregrine is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring goods, works, and services to support our Energy Nuclear Operations fleet of Nuclear Power Stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and ensure supply chain risks are understood and managed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within procurement and administrative functions, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working within a procurement and/or similar environment.
  • High standard of Procurement competence in key areas of sourcing, process knowledge, contracting skills, and supplier management.
  • Good negotiation skills, project management skills, product awareness, commercial acumen, financial awareness, risk and opportunity management.
  • Exemplary business acumen, and ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
