Job Title: Field Service Generator Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Generator Engineer to join our team in the Southern Region. As a Field Service Generator Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services for diesel generators across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel generators, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct site visits to diagnose and resolve generator-related issues, working closely with customers and sub-contractors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest generator technologies and manufacturer specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in diesel generator maintenance and repair, with a strong understanding of generator systems and components.
  • Knowledge of one or more diesel generator manufacturers, including SDMO, FGW, CAT, Cummins, MTU, Mitsubishi, Volvo, John Deere, Perkins, Doosan, and Scania.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to attend sites throughout the UK and participate in an on-call rota.
