Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Sous Chef to join our prestigious B&I contract catering site in the City of London. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating innovative menus that meet the high standards of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and cater to a variety of culinary needs
  • Lead a team of chefs to ensure seamless kitchen operations and high-quality food production
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to design and execute buffets, working lunches, canapés, and fine dining events
  • Source high-quality ingredients and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining restaurant
  • Expert knowledge of ingredients, food trends, flavors, and menu design
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop a team
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
