Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join our team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial management and accounting services to our clients, including project accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial management and accounting services to clients, including project accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and implement financial management systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure effective financial management and control.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to optimize financial performance.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to clients and stakeholders, including quarterly and annual reports.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and support.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project accounting or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management and accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial management software.
