Systems Infrastructure Technician

Our client is actively seeking a skilled Infrastructure Technician to become a vital member of their team on a permanent basis.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for 2 to 3 days of remote work each week.
In this position, you will contribute to and lead initiatives within the Infrastructure Team, supporting the Information Systems department in the development, delivery, and maintenance of business application systems that yield significant advantages for various business sectors across the organization.
You will also ensure the operation of these systems on a modern, dependable, and cost-efficient information technology infrastructure.In return, you will receive a competitive compensation package that includes a bonus (averaging 12-15%), a leading pension scheme, life insurance, income protection, hybrid working options, training and development opportunities, and numerous additional benefits.
Key Skills for Infrastructure Technician:
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft products, both server and desktop versions.
- Experience in the implementation and support of virtualized server infrastructures and technologies, including SAN technology for storage solutions.
- Familiarity with Dell and EMC SAN and server products.
- Experience in managing and configuring Citrix environments.
- Networking and communications experience (IP, Routing, VLANs, etc.).
- Implementation and management of disaster recovery solutions, including replication.
- Understanding of Cisco phone systems.
- Knowledge of firewalls, IPS, and Cisco routers.
- Ideally, exposure to IS27001 standards.
- Basic SQL skills.
