Commercial Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-starting Assistant Commercial Manager to join our team at Sizewell C. As an Assistant Commercial Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the expanding Civils Works Programme and contribute to our mission in helping Britain achieve net zero.
Key Responsibilities- Support Commercial Managers within the Civils Works function to provide commercial assurance and contract administration.
- Assess and value contractor's applications and process payment certificates.
- Administer the Early Warning process, assess daywork records and accounts, and provide advice and information on contract change.
- Prepare commercial cost reports and progress measurement.
- Compile supplier performance and lessons learnt reports.
- Administer commercial management tools.
We are looking for a highly motivated and self-starting Assistant Commercial Manager with a good knowledge of contracts, basic estimating, valuations, cost reporting, and financial modelling. You will also have a basic understanding of contract performance measurement, risk management, and change/claim management. Experience working within a commercial/contract administration environment is essential.
