About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Riverside. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to our customers, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one support to customers, helping them to develop life skills and achieve their goals
  • Work with customers to identify and address their needs, developing personalized support plans to meet their requirements
  • Assist customers with day-to-day tasks, such as budgeting and managing their finances
  • Support customers to access education, employment, and training opportunities
  • Work with customers to maintain a safe and healthy environment, reporting any concerns or issues to management
  • Contribute to the delivery of a housing management service, including income collection and providing customers with tenancy-related support

Requirements

  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults, preferably in a care or support setting
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet customer needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office and other software applications
