As an Area Operations Manager, you will oversee various operational aspects within our branches, ensuring compliance and performance excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Financial Oversight:**
- Ensure daily banking procedures are executed and cash is secured at the end of each business day.
2. **Team Development:**
- Facilitate training sessions focused on product knowledge and sales methodologies.
- Establish performance benchmarks for branch teams and track their progress.
3. **Sales Management:**
- Drive branch-specific sales initiatives, including follow-ups on inquiries, quotes, and lapsed accounts.
- Engage in outbound prospecting to generate new business opportunities.
4. **Customer Relations:**
- Collaborate with Field and Inside Sales teams to identify new business prospects and address ongoing customer issues.
- Assist in resolving aged debt to maintain healthy customer relationships.
5. **Data Monitoring:**
- Oversee master data management to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Compliance and Standards:

- HR policies and procedures, including absence management and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications:
- Proven track record in trade merchanting with experience in leading teams to achieve high performance.
- Sales experience in the building envelope sector, demonstrating success in acquiring and retaining clients.
- Familiarity with the cellular and building plastics industry, fenestration sector, or construction trade counter environment is advantageous.
