Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Marine Systems Design Lead to join our team at AVENTA. As a key member of our offshore design team, you will be responsible for leading the design of marine systems for our deep water O&G floating units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of marine systems for FPSO and FLNG projects
  • Develop and implement internal workflows for assigned projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution
  • Review and approve project documentation from contractors and shipyards
  • Ensure compliance with pipeline design standards and Company HSEQ policies

Requirements:

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or naval architecture with a focus on marine systems
  • Extensive experience in writing technical specifications and functional requirements for marine systems
  • Proven track record of working on FEED and EPC LNG projects
  • Seagoing experience as a second or chief engineer, or experience as a classification society surveyor or tanker/LNG ship vetting engineer
  • OPITO certification for offshore travel is desirable
