Senior Lecturer in Primary Education Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Lecturer in Primary Education to lead our PGCE Primary ITE Course and teach across both our postgraduate and undergraduate Primary Initial Teacher Education with QTS courses.
About the RoleThe Nottingham Institute of Education is a leading provider of education provision, and we are looking for an applicant with a strong background in Primary education in school settings, experience of successfully supporting trainees whilst on placement, and a clear passion for transforming people's lives and creating opportunities.
The successful candidate will join a large and supportive team of Primary specialist colleagues, contribute to both subject-specific and general professional provision, and have a thorough understanding of curriculum and best practice within the sector.
Experience in the HEI sector is essential, and prior experience of Course Leadership is particularly welcomed. The candidate will be aware of current issues in Primary Education, have a strong commitment to their own personal professional development, and be supported in this, including in further study where relevant.
