Job Overview: In the role of Multi-Skilled Technician, you will deliver a wide range of building maintenance services across different sites. This position encompasses both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring the seamless operation and upkeep of facilities. Your skills will play a vital role in maintaining services while effectively managing costs through in-house work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute PPM and reactive maintenance on building fabrics, including but not limited to:
    • General building repairs
    • Fabric upkeep
    • Painting and decorating tasks
    • Plumbing and drainage work
    • Joinery services
    • Scheduled maintenance activities
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are performed to a high standard and within set timelines.
  • Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to identify maintenance requirements and address them swiftly.
  • Collaborate with team members and external contractors as necessary to ensure efficient task completion.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including completed work, materials utilized, and time invested.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies consistently.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining professionalism and fostering positive relationships with clients.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NVQ Level 2 Trade qualification (essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable role within a retail or commercial setting
  • Strong knowledge of building fabric maintenance across various disciplines
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
