Job Summary
Service Care Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering Team. As a key member of the site team, you will be responsible for ensuring the production facility is running at maximum efficiency.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification and at least 3 years' experience in a similar role in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all site machines are maintained safely and efficiently in accordance with relevant legislation.
- Participate in operational projects across the site.
- Carry out maintenance checks of equipment and day-to-day repairs, adjustments, and improvements.
- Maintain site services and facilities.
- Be responsible for carrying out breakdown resolution, planned preventative maintenance activities, and working with the Lean ethos to ensure highest standards on machine condition.
- Liaise with the production team to ensure business requirements are satisfied.
- Implement improvements within the operation.
- Undertake appropriate installation, decommissioning, recommissioning, and testing of capital equipment.
- Ensure Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards are adhered to.
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification.
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong practical and legal knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering/Maintenance.
- Previous experience and knowledge of Planned Preventative & Total Productive Maintenance.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Able to read engineering drawings.
- Previous experience/knowledge of extrusion, mixing, and blending machines would be highly beneficial.
