Job Title: Pipework Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipework Engineer to join our team at Aqumen Recruitment, a leading provider of innovative solutions in the petrochemical industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site visits to gather information and create detailed manufacturing drawings
  • Collaborate with the CAD department, site installation team, and workshop engineering department to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Create detailed manufacturing drawings, including general arrangements, part drawings, developments, and templates
  • Produce piping and steelwork fabrication drawings in the form of isometrics, general arrangements, and orthographics
  • Survey and produce design drawings for equipment replacements and modifications
  • Provide technical input during detailed engineering of projects
  • Support the preparation of manufacturing work packs
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in understanding petrochemical piping specifications with a strong emphasis on site surveys
  • Competence in using AutoCAD drawing software is advantageous but not essential
  • Solid experience in piping and steelwork within highly regulated industries such as Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, and cryogenics
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Computer literate
