The Company:

Optima UK Inc Ltd, a forward-thinking and well-established company, specializes in high-end, bespoke joinery projects. Due to continued growth of their order book and gaining new clients, they are recruiting for a permanent Wood Manufacturing Operative to join their existing team.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with furniture or bespoke joinery is desirable.
  • Experience working with MDF & Laminates is essential.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Ability to comprise, read and interpret cutting lists.
  • Assembly of furniture.
  • Use of hand and power tools.
  • Experience with various machinery, including Spindle Moulder, Panel Tool, Tenoners, Morticer, Bandsaw, Ripsaw, Crosscut, Cordless drills, Jigsaw, Router, Belt sander, Electric planer, Biscuit joiner, Miter saw, Table saw, Edgebander, Nail & pin guns.
  • Fill sand and finish wooden products.
  • Work in a safe manner, adhering to company procedures.
