About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Development Specialist to join our expanding and diverse People Team at the Frontline Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing advice, support, and guidance to our Frontline employees.

The successful candidate will excel at building strong relationships across the business, fostering an open culture, and ensuring that employees know where to receive advice and support. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent and accurate application of policies and processes for all Frontline employees.

As a policy and process expert, you will champion people development across our business, advocating for coaching and mentoring schemes, and promoting our Think EPIC approach to careers. You will also be responsible for ensuring payroll checks lead to the smooth running of our payroll process and that all people administration is complete, timely, and accurate.

You will be out and about delivering workshops and discussion groups, promoting a best practice recruitment process that constantly improves and prioritizes candidate experience. Attendance at recruitment events will be an opportunity to represent the Frontline Group as an employer of choice.

Our team is headed up by the People and Culture Director, with the People Development Specialist working closely with our People Operations Manager. We are looking for someone to bring fresh skills and perspective, along with previous relevant experience in an HR-based role, whether generalist or specialist.

Essential Skills

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Ability to build good relationships both internally and externally
  • Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence
  • Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and maintenance of accuracy at all times
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels using different channels
  • Understanding and knowledge of employment law, and the ability to translate it into practice
  • Adaptable and able to accept change readily
  • Ideally, a CIPD or equivalent relevant qualification
  • Intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HR Software (People Source)

This is a part-time position working hours a week, ideally across 5 days.
