We are seeking a researcher or technologist to lead an MRC Centre of Research Excellence (MRC CoRE) at NERC - the Natural Environment Research Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the MRC CoRE and contributing to its research culture.
Key Responsibilities- Direct the MRC CoRE and lead its research culture
- Contribute to the development of the MRC CoRE's research strategy
- Collaborate with the MRC CoRE leadership team to achieve its goals
- Secure funding for the MRC CoRE through grant applications
- Be a researcher or technologist employed by an eligible UK research organisation
- Have the relevant expertise and experience to lead an MRC CoRE
- Be able to demonstrate a commitment to tackling complex and interdisciplinary health challenges
- Be a member of the proposed MRC CoRE leadership team
To be eligible to apply, you must be employed by an eligible UK research organisation and meet the requirements outlined above.
