The Role: Airport Bus Driver

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Airport Bus Drivers, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers and staff both landside and airside.

  • Provide a high-quality customer experience, assisting passengers with luggage and ensuring their journeys are smooth and enjoyable.
  • Adhere strictly to all relevant passenger carrying vehicle (PCV) laws, regulations, and the Road Traffic Act, prioritizing safety at all times.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and PCV regulations.
  • Report any vehicle defects or parking equipment issues to the Customer Transport Manager on duty, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers.
  • Contribute to a safe and secure environment by reporting any suspicious circumstances or damaged vehicles observed during routes.
  • Prepare clear and concise written reports as required in connection with incidents, upholding customer service standards and corporate guidelines.
  • Promptly report any lost property found.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of assigned vehicles throughout the day.

This role operates on a 24/7 basis, requiring full flexibility to cover a range of shifts, including days and nights.

Your Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A clean driving license and at least two years of experience holding a PCV license.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service or Passenger Transport would be advantageous.
  • A valid CPC driver validation card with no outstanding modules. Please ensure you have completed all required CPC modules prior to your interview, as we will require proof of completion.
