Join Penguin Recruitment in our mission to find the best talent for our clients. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Lead Sustainability Consultant to join our team.
About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in sustainability and environmental management. The ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience working in the field of sustainability consultancy and/or construction-side sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical analysis and guidance to shape and influence sustainability strategies.
- Lead workshops to help clients define their strategic sustainability brief.
- Collaborate with the consulting team to develop, implement, and monitor sustainability briefs and targets for various projects.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to sustainability targets and providing mentorship to junior team members.
- Assist in the operation and management of the Sustainability Team, including project governance, forecasting, and bidding processes.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of and experience in developing detailed circular economy strategies.
- Experience in advising on and delivering BREEAM, WELL, Fitwel schemes.
- Good understanding of and experience in preparing documentation for London-based planning applications.
