Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Help lead and manage the day-to-day running of the gym, including the development and implementation of business strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Operational Excellence: Assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence and ensure the smooth operation of the gym, including the management of staff and resources.
  • Commercial Performance: Help lead and deliver the commercial performance of the business, including the management of sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Performance Management: Deliver set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure the gym is operating within budget and to the required standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Must have experience in a management position within a leisure-related industry, ideally with a proven track record of driving business growth and delivering operational excellence.
  • Qualifications: Must be qualified to at least Level 2 Gym Instructor and have a strong understanding of the leisure industry.
  • Skills: Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Must also have strong business acumen and the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
