About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Institutional Operations Analyst to join our team at CMC Markets. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in providing technical operational support to our Institutional client base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Onboarding and Support: Work closely with our CMC Connect Team to globally support the technical onboarding of new clients, user acceptance testing, and the launch of new processes, technology, and products.
  • Requirements Gathering and Liaison: Understand Institutional requirements from internal and external stakeholders, and liaise with IT and other relevant departments as required to test and rollout through the development lifecycle.
  • System Configuration and Maintenance: On-going maintenance and monitoring of all relevant system configurations and back-office elements of the Institutional application stack.
  • Relationship Building and Communication: Develop internal and external relationships with key business stakeholders, including all aspects of the end-to-end process of clients connecting to the CMC Connect technology stack.
  • IT and Product Strategy: Contribute to Institutional IT and product strategy, planning, development, and delivery pipeline.
  • Business Controls and Compliance: Assist with the implementation of business controls around client set up and management, and maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role.
  • Customer Service and Confidentiality: Ensure that we provide a clear, fair, and consistent high-quality service that presents a professional and positive image of CMC Markets, and take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience managing business process change and technology implementation projects, preferably in the Institutional derivatives business area.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of Web Services/API's platform, FIX, and established interest and awareness of financial markets.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to build solid working relationships with key stakeholders internal and externally, commercially and strategically minded with a strong focus on client service, and strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
