Business Development and Store Acquisition Role
This is an exciting opportunity to drive the recruitment of stores into the Bestway Retail symbol family. The variety of propositions available means you have the autonomy to pick the right brand for the right store, retailer, and demographics.
Working in a team that supports the creation and execution of the business development strategy and liaising closely with other Bestway Retail functions to maximise productivity and the results generated from all newly recruited accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop positive networking relationships with the wider field-based Bestway Retail colleagues.
- Develop strong links with external industry contacts to drive activity and support for business lead generation.
- Work cross-functionally with colleagues and support functions who help you achieve your goals.
- Proactively network with existing Bestway Retail operators who have a desire to grow their store numbers.
- Approach retailers to ascertain acquisition opportunities.
- Deliver the annual new store recruit and sales target by establishing and securing quality new business leads from across the Bestway Retail portfolio of brands.
Requirements:
- Strong commercial understanding of the Symbol Group industry including competitor market activity and market trends.
- Ability to spot opportunities for growth and development.
- Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Active network of contacts within the symbol retail arena.
- Adept at hunting for new business, presenting a proposition, and closing the deal.
