Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage the housing partnership function within the Economy and Regeneration Service at Bradford Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for enabling the delivery of affordable and social housing and sustainable market housing growth for the district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership within and outside the council for market and cross-tenure housing developments in the district.
  • Commission programmes and models of housing investment in the city, enabling the Council to implement Bradford's Housing Strategy in a sustainable manner.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners, including the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, Homes England, Registered Providers, and Adults and Children's colleagues within the council.

Requirements:

  • Strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to provide effective leadership and management of the housing partnership function.
  • Knowledge of housing policy and strategy, including affordable and social housing and sustainable market housing growth.

Working Arrangements:

This is a permanent role based at Britannia House, Bradford. The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Director for Economy and Regeneration.
