Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Grosvenor Casino, Newcastle. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of our building, facilities, and assets, providing a safe and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Acknowledge, welcome, and assist customers in all areas, providing exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Live our values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility, and Solutions, working closely with colleagues to achieve our goals.
- Maintenance and Repair: Promptly upkeep of the building, facilities, and all Rank assets, reporting, fixing, and escalating all equipment and building issues.
- Preventative Maintenance: Create, implement, and deliver a preventative maintenance program for the club in discussion with management, ensuring the building and surrounding area are kept clean, tidy, and in good working order.
- Inspections and Checks: Carry out all necessary daily, weekly, and monthly inspections and checks, liaising with local authorities and Rank health and safety managers as required.
- Culture and Safety: Encourage a culture of preservation, protection, and safety in the club at all times, ensuring the building and surrounding area are kept clean, tidy, and in good working order.
- Decor and Fixtures: Maintain the décor, fixtures, and fittings of the building to the required standard.
- Inventory Management: Receive, check, and store goods received under the correct conditions.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and Experience: Knowledge and understanding of current statutory, safety, and health regulations, experience in facilities or building management in any industry.
- Qualifications: Any relevant technical qualifications.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to remain calm under pressure, deal with unprecedented situations, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Eligibility: Aged 18+ and have the right to work in the UK.
