Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage IT and Non-IT procurement proposals
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define specifications and requirements
- Prepare solicitations, conduct evaluations, and finalize contracts
- Assist in justifying sole source and emergency procurement needs
- Maintain procurement documentation and ensure adherence to regulations
- Process purchases and contracts through the designated procurement system
- Provide expert guidance on procurement procedures
- Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual obligations
- Train contract administrators as necessary
- Ensure timely renewal of contracts
- Review and process purchase orders efficiently
- Complete reporting for high-risk procurement activities
- Assist with documentation for Accounts Payable
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with governmental procurement practices
- Strong evaluation and negotiation capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to research, analyze, and communicate effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of public procurement and contracting regulations
Additional Considerations
- Preferred experience in government procurement
- Certifications such as VCO, CPPO, or CPPB are advantageous
