About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced MOT tester to join our team in a fleet workshop environment. As an MOT tester, you will be responsible for conducting MOT inspections on light fleet vehicles, as well as taxi MOT and 6 monthly and annual inspections. You will also be required to manage the MOT diary daily to ensure all booked appointments are completed and confirmed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct MOT inspections on light fleet vehicles
  • Perform taxi MOT and 6 monthly and annual inspections
  • Manage the MOT diary daily to ensure all booked appointments are completed and confirmed
  • Report any customers or vehicles to management immediately that have not turned up for their appointment or have any major concerns or are refused from testing

Requirements:

  • Experienced DVSA nominated tester class 4 (5&7 is highly desirable but not essential)
  • Taxi Testing Inc 6 monthly & Annual Inspections + Accident damage Inspections desirable
  • Managing an MOT daily Diary Calander so that every booked appointment is completed & confirmed
