Transportation Coordinator

At Streamline Search, we are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling routes for our fleet of vehicles, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation solutions for our clients across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and schedule routes to optimize fleet efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage driver allocations and ensure compliance with driver hours and working time regulations.
- Liaise with customers and warehouse teams to coordinate loading times and delivery requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all transport activities, including vehicle maintenance schedules and delivery documentation.
- Utilize transport planning software to optimize routes and increase fleet efficiency.
- Proven experience in transport planning within the general haulage and/or pallet network sector.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the UK road network.
- Experience using transport management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work flexibly across early and late shifts as required.
- Competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000.
- Flexible working hours with early and late shift options.
- Monday - Friday working hours.
