Expert Clinical Psychologist

Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our dedicated team.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive mental health assessments, interventions, and support to patients within our community.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based psychological therapies and interventions tailored to diverse patient populations.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Contribute to service development initiatives and promote best practices in mental health care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Psychologist with:
- A professional mental health qualification, such as an RMN, BSc/Diploma in OT, or Chartered Clinical Psychologist.
- Current registration with a relevant professional body, such as the NMC or HCPC.
- Training and registration as an Approved Clinician.
- A Masters level qualification in health/social care or demonstrable equivalent experience, supplemented by specialist training and/or experience to doctorate level or equivalent.
- Independent and supplementary prescribing qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years post-professional qualifying clinical experience in their current profession, working at a senior clinical position (Band 7 and above).
