Key Role in Production Facility Maintenance

Dr Oetker UK, a leading manufacturer of pizzas, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its state-of-the-art production facility in Leyland.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery in the production areas, providing a proactive and reactive professional engineering service to maintain and improve plant performance.

  • Responsibilities include completing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks, assisting with root cause analysis to promote future reliability and improvements.
  • The Maintenance Engineer will work closely with the production team to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production levels.

The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a 4-5-5 rotating days and nights 12 hour-shift pattern, overtime paid at a premium rate, and a range of employee benefits such as free life assurance, enhanced company sick pay, and a pension scheme with 6% employer contribution.

The ideal candidate will have a HNC, HND, or degree-level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, at least 2 years of post-apprenticeship engineering maintenance experience, and excellent planning, organisational skills, and good time management.
