About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead our charity, Greater Manchester Youth Federation, into its next chapter of growth and impact. As CEO, you will be responsible for shaping the future of our organisation, driving strategic vision, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality youth services across Greater Manchester.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and expansion of new clubs and services, including the construction of a new community centre and additional youth centres.
  • Drive the growth and success of our residential services and outdoor activities, ensuring compliance with safety and educational standards.
  • Maximise the use of our Ormside Mill Residential Centre, promoting it as a hub for outdoor education and affiliated club activities.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with local authorities, council members, and community stakeholders.
  • Ensure robust governance, financial sustainability, and compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with significant experience in a senior management role within youth services or a related field. You will be a proactive leader, capable of developing and delivering long-term plans, and have a proven track record in leading organisational change, motivating teams, and fostering a positive culture.
