About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead our organisation into a new era of growth and impact. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the future of our charity and driving our strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the growth and development of our youth services and outdoor education programs.
  • Lead a team of experienced professionals to deliver high-quality services and achieve our organisational goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, community leaders, and funders.
  • Ensure the financial sustainability of our organisation through effective budgeting, fundraising, and financial management.
  • Represent our charity at a local and national level, promoting our work and values to a wide range of audiences.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who combines strategic leadership with hands-on management experience, ideally within youth services or a related field. You will be a proactive leader, capable of developing and delivering long-term plans while remaining ready to engage with the community when necessary.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience in a senior management role within youth services, outdoor education, or a similar sector.
  • A proven track record in leading organisational change, motivating teams, and fostering a positive culture.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, ensuring financial sustainability, and driving fundraising efforts.
  • In-depth understanding of charity governance, regulatory requirements, and compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
