Teaching Opportunity at Horizon Care and Education

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher to join our Alternative Learning Team in the Stockport region. As a Teacher at Horizon Care and Education, you will play a vital role in supporting young people who struggle to maintain attendance and learning in a school environment.

About the Role

As a Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering personalized learning programmes to students aged 5-19. You will work closely with our Director of Curriculum, Headteachers, SENCos, and the Managing Director of Education Services to ensure that our students receive the best possible education and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the educational and social development of students
  • Work with children with SEN and/or children who have struggled in a school environment
  • Deliver 1:1 or small group lessons in a variety of non-school settings
  • Support children with learning and education based on their individual needs
