About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Education Coach to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As an Education Coach, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and training to healthcare professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver education programs for healthcare professionals, focusing on cancer care and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to identify training needs and develop tailored education solutions.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to healthcare professionals to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of education policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with Trust objectives.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evaluating the effectiveness of education programs and making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Significant post-registration experience in cancer care, with a strong focus on education and mentorship.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver education programs, with a track record of successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals at all levels.
  • Knowledge of current relevant NHS policy in relation to cancer care, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to travel independently to all areas within North Cumbria Integrated Care Trust, as required.
