Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled M&E Engineer to join our mobile Service & Maintenance team at Johnson Controls. As part of our commitment to excellence, this role is responsible for the inspection, operation, and maintenance of all equipment across a portfolio of buildings within the Midlands, UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform planned preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical plant room equipment, including air handling units, pumps, motors, pressurisation units, expansion vessels, and booster sets.
- Modify electrical wiring systems as required.
- Support the development of the asset replacement programme and assist management in energy savings initiatives through equipment operation and execution of energy-saving projects.
- Work to SFG20 standards and maintain a high level of safety awareness.
- High diploma level in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or completion of an apprenticeship program.
- Proven experience in M&E operations and maintenance, preferably in a mobile role.
- In-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs.
- A full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
- Computer literate (BMS, CMMS, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, etc).
- 18th edition electrical qualification: experience and qualification for electrical installation.
