The Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Assistant Operations Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our venue. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the General Manager on all aspects of venue operations and making operational decisions on daily matters.
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the entire venue, including staff selection, training, development, and performance management.
  • Taking full responsibility for the venue's profit and loss.
  • Adhering to company standards and service levels to maximize sales, minimize costs (beverage, supply, and labor), and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Being fully accountable for all processes and procedures within the business, from daily transactions to inventory management.
  • Actively participating in all areas of the operation, including gaming, food & beverage, events, sports, and labor, while maintaining required standards of operation in daily activities.
  • Ensuring positive guest service across all areas. Responding to complaints within established parameters or escalating them to the General Manager, taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into returning customers.
  • Creating a team-focused environment that fosters a professional and motivating atmosphere for all team members.
