Job Title: Learner Support Services Supervisor

Job Summary:

This role is the team leader for the Learner Support Services team, within the People Development and Education Department, and can be based at either Exeter or Bideford, with flexibility to work from home some of the time. There will be some travel between Trust sites. The post holder has an overview of all office functions within People Development and Education and is responsible for the operational management of a team who provide in-house training administration, process all funding applications for external training and development opportunities, and administrative support to tutors across the Trust.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic team leader who will manage the Learner Support Services team. This team administer learning through the Trust's LMS, as well as providing administration support for clinical skills and professional education and external learning funding applications. The team also work with internal and external tutors to help them with information required for their programmes, and lead on the booking of our new colleagues who join the Trust onto their welcome week.

It is an exciting time for us as we continue to look at how we can digitalise administration and provide a better learning experience for the Trust learners and managers. The post holder will be supporting identified changes as part of the People Digital Transformation project, and also changes identified through other projects. So being able to demonstrate experience with leading change in a team is important to us.

The post holder will also be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining processes and procedures that function well and are fit for purpose to support People Development & Education deliverables in a busy and evolving environment. This includes monitoring the timeliness, consistency and quality of training data used in the collation of monthly compliance reports and ensuring the accurate recording of external learning funding applications that feed into monthly budget reports, divisional spend statements and, where required, submissions to external bodies. The post holder will liaise with other teams as necessary to ensure problems are investigated and resolved promptly and that action is taken to avoid recurrence.

The post holder will have a good knowledge of LMS administration, and also be able to demonstrate stakeholder management and relationship skills, and have experience managing a team of people.

Working Pattern: hours per week.

Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 4-5 rates, inclusive of a pay award implemented from October 4. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 4 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 3-4 pay bandings (Pay scales for 3/ | NHS Employers).
